INTRODUCTION
Maximising Athletic Potential - MAP is an NAAA registered Track and Field athletics club that operates out of the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella, Trinidad. As its name implies, the clubs aim is to identify, harness and develop the potential in each athlete to help them to set and reach their goals. Athletes from as young as 6 years old participate in the MAP programmes. Join MAP at their 2nd Annual 5k Run and Relay and fulfill your potential!
THE RACES
The 5K
The races will begin with the MAP 5k Run at 7:00 am commencing and ending at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella. The course takes you through the core of Marabella and the suburbs of Gopaul Lands and then back to the Finish Line at the Stadium for the prize giving.
In addition to the top three male and female, there will be age groups awards as follows; 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & Over
The 4K Relay
The 4k Relay is a unique feature to this event. At 8:00 am we will be kicking off this race, which comprises of teams of four(4 )persons. Each Team member runs one leg of 1k, beginning and ending at the Stadium. Each team participating must comprise of two(2) males and two(2) females, running in any order they choose.,
The relay age groups are as follows; 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & Over and OPEN(any ages)
So sign up for one event or sign up for both, either way, you are going to have a great time!
