INTRODUCTION

In 2023, The WDA Crew has taken you on a journey, starting with a 5k race, followed by the NISCO 10k, and then the Beer Mile challenge with our Metronomes Family. Now, get ready for our finale, WDA 2.0 – A Christmas Relay, a fusion of southern vibes, festive cheer, Christmas treats, entertainment, and, who knows, maybe even some roti! This event will take place on December 9th 3:30 pm, at the Mohess Road Recreation Ground in Debe.
The run will be a total distance of 6km, with each participant running 3km. The course is designed to be a flat loop and although the emphasis is on fun, there are cash prizes up for grabs for the top three teams in the male, female, and mixed categories.
Staying true to WDA's tradition of celebrating the community spirit, there will be village prizes up for grabs. Plus, be prepared to spread some extra holiday cheer by putting on your best Christmas costumes because the most creatively dressed teams will be awarded delightful hampers.
WDA events are pet friendly, so even your fur babies can join in on the fun as pet hampers will also be up for grabs and to top it all off, there's an ultimate WDA Christmas Hamper
Registration for this event is $135, and every participant will receive a Christmas themed interlocking medal.
